Ingredients:
- dates with seeds - 150 g
- black chocolate - 150 g
- rice cakes - 80 g
- honey - 2 tbsp. l.
Step by step recipe
1. First, let's prepare the dates.
Put 150 g of dates with seeds in a bowl. Pour boiling water over and leave for 20 minutes to soften.
20 minutes have passed, we drain the water and remove the bones from the dates.
2. Put the prepared dates in the chopper bowl. Add 2 tablespoons to this. honey. Grind everything until a homogeneous paste is obtained.
3. We take 80 g of rice cakes and break them into small pieces with our hands. Instead of rice cakes, you can use puffed rice.
4. Add date paste to this. Mix everything thoroughly.
5. We form bars from the resulting mass.
To make it more convenient, we moisten our hands with water, then the bars are smoother and do not stick so much to the hands. From this amount of ingredients, I got 12 bars.
Put the prepared bars on a board and put them in the refrigerator for about 1 hour so that they cool down.
6. The bars are cold.
We take 150 g of dark chocolate and break it into small pieces into a clean and dry bowl.
Melt in the microwave. We heat for 10-15 seconds, take out and mix. We repeat this about 3-4 times. Be careful not to overheat the chocolate, otherwise it may curdle.
When most of the chocolate is melted, stop heating it and just stir until all the chocolate is melted.
7. We transfer the cooled bars to parchment paper. Gently, with a spoon, cover the bars with melted chocolate. One bar takes about 1 tbsp. l. chocolate.
The bars can be left to cool on the table or refrigerated to freeze faster.
The homemade chocolate bars are delicious. They are moderately sweet with a pleasant chocolate flavor. Everyone, both adults and children, will like these bars.
