I have one wonderful book with recipes for Italian cuisine, I have been looking at this cake recipe for a long time and just cooked it the other day. This is a homemade, slightly sloppy cake, but this does not affect the taste at all, but on the contrary, makes it more attractive. I made some changes to the recipe in order to make the cake less heavy and greasy, and I was right. For its preparation, baking dishes are not needed, the shape can be any, even round, even square, even triangular)

First you need to prepare a meringue, it is she who acts as cakes. To do this, beat the whites with a mixer into a foam, then gradually add sugar, continuing to beat. Then I add cocoa and lemon juice, beat again until stable peaks. This takes about 10-15 minutes.

Next, on two sheets of paper for baking with a pencil, I draw two identical ovals, I was guided by the shape of the plate in which I was going to serve the cake. I spread the meringue in the center of each oval and distribute it, it is not necessary to do everything super smoothly and neatly. I send both baking sheets at once into an oven preheated to 150 degrees for 40-50 minutes.

Next, I prepare the cream. The original recipe uses butter as the base for the cream. It seemed to me that it would be too fat and heavy, so I replaced it with cream cheese. I added sugar and a little cold instant coffee to the cheese. She mixed everything well with a fork, and then beat with a mixer for another 3-4 minutes.

I put the cooled cake on a plate and grease it with coffee cream.

I spread the cream all at once and distribute it over the cake in an even layer.

I send chocolate icing to the cream. I melted one bar of dark chocolate in the microwave with the addition of milk and mixed well.

I put the second cake on top and sprinkle it with cocoa powder. I send it to the refrigerator for 1 hour.

You need to cut the cake into small pieces.
