This method is not a recipe for the preparation of real and correct in all senses of brandy.
It is rather a need to improve the taste and aroma properties of strong alcohol, such as vodka or moonshine at home, by giving it a drop... a certain nobility.
But everyone who has tried this drink notes the similarity of this cognac potion with real cognac. Why not?
Moreover, the simplest option, the ingredients are available, and in time - in a day, you can already take a sample.
Ingredients:
- 1 liter of vodka
- 2 hours l. tea (dry tea)
- 1-2 bay leaves
- 1-2 peas of allspice
- 3 black peppercorns
- 1-2 pcs. carnation
- 1 hour l. vanilla sugar (not vanillin!)
How to cook:
1. Pour peppers, cloves, bay leaves and vanilla sugar into a jar or other container. In order not to bother with filtration in the future, it is best to tie all the spices in a knot made of cloth or gauze before lowering it into the jar.
2. Pour vodka or moonshine into the dishes.
3. Mix everything, close the lid and put it in a cool dark place for a day. But not in the refrigerator. After 24 hours, the tea in the composition will color the infusion and all the ingredients will mix in taste and smell.
4. After a day, you need to strain the drink, pour it into bottles and... you can start trying. The taste becomes more interesting a week after straining.
