The husband recently wanted meat pies on kefir dough. I started cooking and remembered the comment of one of my subscribers, where she told me how to make the filling for meat pies even tastier and juicier. I immediately decided to check the recommendation in practice, it turned out just super, very tasty and really juicy. But first things first.
The dough must be prepared in advance so that it lies on the table for about 15 minutes and "rested".
Ingredients:
- Kefir 500 ml
- Soda h. spoon
- Egg 1 pc
- Salt 0.5 tsp spoons
- Sour cream 100 grams
- Flour 800 grams
The dough needs to be kneaded in a large bowl, and then put on a silicone mat, oiled with vegetable oil. Knead the dough well so that the dough absorbs it almost completely.
Now we are preparing the filling.
In a frying pan, I fry the onion until tender, then add about 500 grams of minced meat to it, fry it well with salt and spices. I transfer the filling to another container and add the very ingredient that will make it even tastier.
This is grated cheese, you don't need a lot, only 50 grams. Now many will oppose this ingredient in pies, but in vain. The cheese is almost not felt in the finished pies, but it gives the filling additional juiciness and softness.
Next, we prepare the pies according to the "standard scheme". Roll out the dough, put the filling and form the pies. I love round patties.
Then you can do it in two ways: send the pies to the oven or fry them in a pan. I chose the second option, I haven't cooked fried pies for a long time.
