Ingredients:

  • water - 3 l
  • legs - 2 pcs.
  • potatoes - 400 g
  • vermicelli - 60 g
  • sweet pepper - 1 pc.
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • parsley - 1 bunch
  • sour cream - 100 ml
  • yolk - 1 pc.
  • flour - 10 g
  • salt - 1/2 tbsp. l.
  • black pepper - 5-6 peas
  • bay leaf - 1 pc.

Step by step recipe

1. Take 2 chicken legs and place them in a 4 liter saucepan. First, you need to remove the skin from the legs and wash. immediately put 5-6 black peppercorns and 1 bay leaf. Pour in about 2.5-3 liters of water. We put everything on the fire and cook the legs after boiling for about 30 minutes.

2. While the meat is cooking, prepare the rest of the ingredients.
Take 1 bell pepper and cut out the seed pod. First we cut the pepper lengthwise into strips, and then we cut the strips into cubes.

3. Cut about 400 g of potatoes into cubes.
Chop a bunch of parsley with a knife.

4. Cut one onion into small cubes.
Three carrots on a fine grater.

5. Put the prepared onion in a hot pan with a small amount of vegetable oil. When the onion is golden, add grated carrots to it. We pass for about 1-2 minutes more.

6. Add chopped peppers. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly and remove from heat.

7. Half an hour has passed, the legs are already cooked, take them out of the pan and leave to cool. Take out the bay leaf, pepper from the broth and remove the resulting foam.

8. Put prepared potatoes in the broth. Cook it for 5 minutes over low heat.
After 5 minutes, add 60 g of durum wheat vermicelli. Mix and cook for another 5 minutes.

9. The chicken meat has cooled down a little during this time, we remove it from the bones. Cut the pieces of meat into smaller pieces.

10. Put the prepared meat back into the pan. We also add vegetable sautéing to this. We mix everything. While the soup is boiling, prepare the sour cream dressing.

11. We take 100 g of sour cream. I use 20% sour cream. Add 1 yolk to it and add 10 g of flour. Mix everything until smooth. Flour must be added without fail, sour cream will exfoliate in the soup.

12. Here, in the dressing, pour 1 ladle of broth from the pan. Mix everything quickly.

13. Pour the prepared dressing into the soup and stir.

14. When the soup, after adding the dressing, boils, pour prepared parsley or dill into it.
Salt with about half a tablespoon of salt and pepper with black pepper. When the soup boils, remove it from the heat.

The soup is ready, you can serve it.
