Surely many people understand the taste of those whites. No matter how people called them names and did not doubt the filling, it is simply impossible to forget the juicy, crispy and fatty whites of that time

We offer you a classic recipe for homemade whites with meat filling.

Belyashi almost like from the USSR

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 4 cups flour (800 gr.)
  • 300 ml warm milk or water
  • 2 tbsp. l. Sahara
  • 1 hour l. salt
  • 1 sachet dry yeast
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil

For filling:

  • 0.5 kg minced meat (any, but not dry as turkey)
  • 3-4 onions (medium)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • seasonings to taste

How to cook:

1. Sift flour and combine with yeast.

2. Dissolve sugar and salt in warm liquid, add mixture to flour. Add oil. Start kneading the dough. You need to knead it for at least 15 minutes with roars or in a dough mixer (bread maker).

3. Leave the dough in a warm place. If there is no such place in the apartment or you are in doubt, then you can do this: put a glass of hot water in the microwave, cover the dough with a towel and place it there for 1 hour.

4. Then knead again for a few minutes and again in the microwave with a new glass of hot water. Another hour.

5. Chop the onion, you can grate it, mash it with your hands so that the juice goes. Combine with minced meat. Season with salt, pepper, add spices to taste. Beat the minced meat into a bowl.

6. Cut the dough into equal pieces.

7. Roll out each piece, lay out the filling, pinch the edge. These whites are prepared both with holes and just a deaf whole pie.

8. You need to fry the whites in a large amount of oil so that they float in it. About 3-5 minutes on each side.

Put the finished whites on a paper towel or napkins. Serve hot.
