The recipe for a delicious pie that can be a great breakfast and a great dinner.

How I love this pie, not only for the taste, but also for the fact that it is a pleasure to cook it. From the simplest and most familiar ingredients, a very tasty, hearty pie of a rather impressive size is obtained.

So, I'll start with the test. I prepare the same dough for this cake as for the pancakes. Same ingredients and proportions.

Ingredients:

  • Eggs 3 pcs
  • Kefir 1 large glass
  • Salt and sugar to taste
  • Flour is slightly less than a glass (I'm guided by the consistency of the dough)
  • Soda 1 teaspoon, slaked with vinegar

By the way, you do not need to add eggs, then the dough in the finished cake will be even softer.

For the filling, you can use any minced meat, this time I have chicken.

In a frying pan, first fry one large onion until transparent, then add the minced meat and fry everything until tender. From the spices I add only salt, black pepper and a little paprika. The finished filling must be cooled to at least room temperature.

Then everything is very simple. Pour half of the dough into a greased baking dish.

Then I spread the filling and distribute it evenly over the dough.

Pour the remaining dough onto the filling and level it with a spatula, trying to cover the meat completely.

I send the form with the dough into an oven preheated to 175 degrees for 1 hour. Readiness can be checked with a toothpick. One should come out of the cake dry and without dough residues on it.

The finished cake needs to be allowed to cool a little, it may settle a little, but there is nothing to worry about.

Here is such a simple but very tasty cake I get.
