I have been looking for a recipe for that very gravy for a long time! Who remembers that famous canteen cutlet sauce? Very tasty, but I couldn't cook it at home. But now I know this recipe, it turns out very tasty! And the gravy is prepared very quickly.

Ingredients:

Tomato paste
Butter
Vegetable oil
Flour
Water
Sour cream
Salt
Spices
Greens (I have dried)

In general, I have come across several recipes for this famous gravy "like in a dining room". Some suggest sautéing onions and carrots. But I cook without vegetables. I'm making a gravy-sauce.

So, we need 20 grams of butter and 2 tablespoons of vegetable - put in a frying pan or in a saucepan. As soon as the butter is melted, add 2 tablespoons of flour and stir. It is very convenient to use a whisk for this.

Add 1.5 - 2 tablespoons of tomato paste (not tomato juice or sauce, it is the paste that is needed), pour in 1 glass of water, or even better, meat broth. Stir with quick movements until smooth. We stir until all the lumps are gone.

Since we added flour, the gravy will thicken, so add more water or broth - about 2/3 cup or a little more. The fire is moderate, even closer to slow.

Salt to taste, pepper, you can add your favorite spices or dried herbs (very small).

Next, put 1 tablespoon of sour cream, stir again until smooth and cook for another 1-2 minutes, then remove from the stove.

That's all)) It takes about 7 minutes for this gravy. It goes well with cutlets, meat and fish dishes, pasta. And in general, for any dish, probably.
