Ingredients:
- flour - 200 g
- sour cream (kefir) - 150 ml
- cheese - 100 g
- butter - 50 g
- baking powder - 2 tsp l.
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper - to taste
Step by step recipe
1. Pour 200 g of flour into the bowl of the chopper and put 50 g of cold butter, cut into pieces. Grind the butter and flour into crumbs. You can also do it by hand.
2. Three 100 g of cheese on a coarse grater.
3. Pour flour and butter crumbs into a bowl, add grated cheese and add 2 tsp. baking powder. Salt and pepper everything a little. Stir until smooth.
4. Pour 150 ml of sour cream of any fat content into this mixture. Mix everything first with a spoon, and then with your hands.
5. The dough does not need to be kneaded for long. As soon as the dough gathers into a lump, immediately stop kneading. The dough should keep its shape well and not crumble. Look at the consistency of the dough, if the dough is very thick, add a little more sour cream, and if it is thin, then add flour.
Sour cream in this recipe can be replaced with kefir, yogurt or unsweetened yogurt.
6. Roll up balls from the prepared dough and put them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. The size of the balls is about the size of a walnut. From this portion of the dough, I made 24 cookies.
7. We put everything in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. We bake for about 25-30 minutes.
The snack biscuits with cheese turned out to be very tasty and satisfying. It is soft on the inside and crispy on the top. If you are cooking for a large family, then bake at least a double portion at once.
