These choux pastry meat pies are sure to please your taste. They turn out to be ruddy, beautiful and appetizing. And the taste is a real delight. It is very difficult to stop at one pie!
They are prepared several times easier and faster than yeast brass pies. Every housewife can cook these pies in the oven. It is convenient to take them for a snack or on the road. The unusual shape of these pies will allow you to serve them even on a festive table as a hot snack.

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • flour - 350 g
  • sunflower oil - 100 ml
  • water - 200 ml

Filling:

  • boiled meat - 300 g
  • onions - 2 pcs.
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • butter - 50 g
  • broth - 50 g
  • ground black pepper - to taste
  • salt to taste
  • egg - 1 pc. (for coating)
  • sesame seeds - 1-2 tbsp. l. (for sprinkling)

Step by step recipe

1. First, knead the choux pastry. Pour water and sunflower oil into a saucepan and put on fire.

2. Pour the flour into a large bowl, in which we will knead the dough.


As soon as the water and oil have boiled, pour it into the flour.
Immediately knead the dough with a spoon, and then with your hands.

3. Cover the finished dough with foil and let it cool down a bit and lie down.

4. In the meantime, we are preparing the filling.
Cut the onion into small cubes. Three carrots on a coarse grater.

5. Put chopped onion in a hot frying pan with sunflower oil and fry until half cooked.
Add grated carrots to the onion. Fry everything until the carrots are soft.

6. Twist the boiled meat through a meat grinder. We also twist the fried onions and carrots through a meat grinder.

7. Salt the filling to taste, pepper and add 50 ml of broth so that the meat filling is not dry.

8. We make pies. Roll out the dough into a tourniquet and cut it into 16 approximately equal parts.
Roll each part of the dough into a layer, as thin as possible.

9. Grease the sides of the dough with melted butter. Bend the edges of the dough to the center.
Put the filling on the edge.

10. We turn everything up with a tube. We make all the pies in the same way.
Put the finished pies on a baking sheet covered with Teflon or parchment paper.

11. Beat one egg in a separate bowl and grease all the pies on top.

12. Sprinkle the pies greased with an egg with sesame seeds.

13. Put the pies in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. We bake for about 25-30 minutes.

The meat pies turned out to be appetizing, ruddy and very tasty. These pies are great for a quick bite, and you can also take them with you. Be sure to cook them.
