" Zhurunchiki" according to the recipe of my grandmother from Siberia

Today I would like to share a recipe for potato "crunchy", from which I don’t know the name, my grandmother called them that, by the way, my grandmother lived in the very heart of Siberia in the Omsk region, where I come from. By the way, this is exactly the same dish that is prepared from almost nothing, but it turns out to be amazingly tasty, especially with sour cream.

Recipe:

potatoes -1kg

salt -1 tsp (no slide)

onion -1pc

vegetable oil - for frying

minced meat -400g

salt -1 / 2 tsp

black pepper - to taste

garlic -2tooth

COOKING METHOD

And so first, let's do the minced meat. I take lattices with medium holes.

Now we turn the chicken fillet into minced meat, it is a pleasure to twist, it did not even take me 10 minutes.
We mix the minced meat and put it in sachets, I usually put it in 800-900 grams and put it in the freezer, when we need it we take it out and cook it.
Let's measure out 400 grams of minced meat, add half a tsp. salt, black pepper, garlic, a couple of cloves, onions and herbs can be added if desired.


We mix everything and make such thin minced cakes, about half a tablespoon each.

peel the potatoes, the weight of the peeled potatoes is 1 kg, rub on a fine grater, I used the help of my meat grinder.

In the middle, be sure to rub 1 onion, thanks to the onion, the potatoes will not darken and will be even tastier.

Now add salt to the potatoes and mix. You don't need to add anything else, do not flour or eggs, do not be afraid to fall apart nothing will happen during frying, if too much liquid has settled, you can scoop out with a spoon.

We take a frying pan, pour in a little vegetable, put a tablespoon of potatoes, form cakes in a thin layer. Now put the prepared minced meat on each cake and fry over medium heat until golden brown and cooked on both sides.

These are how they are appetizing in appearance and divine in taste. As a child, we loved them even more than ordinary potato pancakes.
Serve with sour cream or your favorite sauce.
