There are many reasons for the culinary battle.

Continue with correct cuts. Here in our family, more and more potatoes were cut into cubes. And as a teenager, he saw how it was cut into semicircular slices. From the author of these slices I learned that the cubes are "not quite right" and, probably, for the first time then I faced culinary fights.

But slicing and cleaning is what it is! Next comes the worst thing - frying!

In which pan is it permissible to fry potatoes? They recently proved to me that any modern frying pan is, so to speak, a culinary betrayal. All you need is cast iron!

But even if you figure it out with the pan, it's too early to relax.

For some argue that it is necessary to give potatoes only in unrefined sunflower oil with a pronounced aroma of seeds.

Others argue that only lard has a place to be in this outstanding dish.

Still others offer a mixture of vegetable and sunflower oil.

Still others prepare a cast-iron pan to defend the option of frying in pure butter.

And if you remember that potatoes can be fried with onions, with mushrooms, with cracklings (all together or with each separately), then there are even more options. Here you can't even get off wall to wall. Here the battles of the "game of thrones" will be screwed ...

And there is another option to pour the underfried potatoes with fat milk and darken everything in the oven. Delicious too!
