β¨Hello, my name is Oksana! Greetings to everyone who has looked at my page. I hope my recipes will be interesting and useful to you - read, write comments, and of course, Subscribe! π
β π Herring is probably the most common fish that is used to prepare various salads and snacks. And it is not surprising, because it goes well with various vegetables, boiled chicken eggs and even cheeses.
β¨And today I want to offer you one of the options for a delicious appetizer with herring.
β¨I highly recommend you try making this appetizer - I'm sure you will like it! π₯°π
πTo prepare a snack you will need: π₯
Salted or pickled herring - 1 fillet (about 150-200 g)
Chicken eggs (selected category) - 3 pcs.
Mayonnaise (I have homemade) - 2 tbsp. l.
Dill and onion greens - small bunch
Garlic - 1-2 cloves
Ground black pepper - a pinch (optional)
π¨π»βπ³ Let's start cooking... ‡οΈβ€΅οΈβ€΅οΈ
The first step is to boil the eggs - they should go into the snack already completely cooled. Therefore, we cook the eggs for the required time until they are "hard-boiled", cool, clean, rub on a coarse grater or simply chop finely and finely with a knife.
Chop the greens (a few feathers of green onions and 3-4 sprigs of dill).
Fillet the herring (if you haven't already). We carefully select all the bones. This amount of products will require half a carcass (1 fillet). Cut the fish into small cubes. Mackerel or other pickled fish can be used instead of salted herring. But it is undesirable to take preserves - alas, their taste is not the same.
We transfer all the crushed components into one deep dish. Add mayonnaise, garlic passed through a press and a little pepper. There is no need to salt - the fish is already quite salty.
It remains only to mix everything well, and you can cook sandwiches.
It will turn out extremely tasty if you brown the bread in a frying pan or in a toaster. But even on a fresh white loaf or black bread, such a spread turns out to be simply incomparable.
