We are preparing a beautiful and very interesting appetizer with meat filling inside. Can be made with fried mushrooms and onions, or with vegetables. It will still be delicious!
Ingredients:
- 150 g chicken fillet (mushrooms, etc.)
- 3 medium carrots
- 100 g cheese
- 2 eggs
- 50 ml mayonnaise, yogurt or sour cream
- 1 clove of garlic
- salt
- black pepper to taste
- black peppercorns or clove buds for garnish
How to cook:
1. Boil carrots, eggs and chicken separately.
If mushrooms are used, then you will additionally need onions and vegetable oil, since the mushrooms are best fried.
2. Cool all the ingredients prepared above.
3. Finely chop the chicken fillet. And grate eggs and cheese on a fine grater.
4. Mix chicken, cheese and egg. Add chopped garlic and season with mayonnaise or yogurt. Add salt and pepper to taste.
5. Peel the carrots and also grate on a fine grater, it is desirable that the mass is not very juicy.
6. Spread cling film on the table, on which to form thin pancakes from carrots for the base of the peel of our tangerines.
7. Put the chicken-cheese ball of filling (a little more than a teaspoon) in the middle of the pancake and then wrap it in a carrot shell.
Optionally, in the middle of the filling, put an olive or pitted olive, a walnut kernel, a cube of feta or sirtaki cheese.
8. Transfer the ginger balls directly to a serving dish, decorate with a black peppercorn or a clove bud, or leaves of greenery, making them look like real tangerines.
A little trick: so that the carrots do not dry out and the "tangerines" of the flock look like real ones - they need to be slightly greased on top with vegetable oil for shine.
