Recipe for making mackerel in red sauce for dinner or even a holiday. The recipe is very simple and you don't have to stand at the stove for a long time.

I have not yet seen a simpler recipe, fish in tomato sauce and spices turns out to be not only very tasty, but also aromatic. But it's not just the sauce, but the right fish as well. When choosing a mackerel, you need to pay attention to the width of its back, the thicker it is, the fatter the fish, and therefore tastier. Well, everyone knows about the eyes, they must be clear and kind.

The fish must be cleaned of entrails and salt on all sides. Next, prepare the sauce.

To do this, send one full tablespoon of tomato paste to the pan along with several tablespoons of water. Adjust the thickness of the sauce to your taste. Add a little salt and fish spices there, let the sauce simmer for a few minutes and that's it.

Now, using a brush, grease the mackerel with the resulting sauce from all sides and inside.

We send the fish to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with lemon to any side dish immediately while the fish is hot.
