Cutlets from mackerel with pearl barley

Unpretentious fish cutlets. For them need fresh mackerel, little barley and woo-a-la!

Ingredients:

1 carcass mackerel
1 PC. onions
1 cup cooked barley
egg
salt
pepper
oil for frying

Preparation:

1. To cut mackerel fillet, remove all the bones and skin. Mackerel - rather oily fish, so it is well cleaned.
Skip the fish through a meat grinder.

2. Boil barley in salted water until tender. You will need 1 cup of ready-made barley.

3. Barley scroll through a meat grinder and mix with minced meat.

4. Onion peel and finely chop. You can use green onions.

5. Mix the minced fish with barley and onions. To drive into it one egg.

6. Minced knead, salt and season with pepper.

7. Form of minced meat Round burgers and optional roll in flour or breadcrumbs.

8. Preheat a frying pan in vegetable oil.

9. Fish fry patties in oil on both sides until nice brown.

Put burgers on a cloth or paper towel to remove excess oil.
Ready cutlets mackerel garnish with greens and pour oil.

Serve cutlets with barley mackerel and onions with your favorite side dish or vegetable salad.

Important! only suitable for data mackerel patties. It is best to take the carcasses in a larger and cut into fillets until they are completely thawed.

Instead of barley can take pics, but will not quite the taste and consistency of the meat.

Cutlets from mackerel are obtained unusual, compared to other fish.

By the way, if you do not like the barley, the fish mince, pour a little milk and add a couple of handfuls of oatmeal. Burgers come too successful!
