Minimum ingredients, very unusual and interesting! What else do you need when the budget is limited, and you always want to eat a variety of foods?
Cooking a versatile beetroot dish!
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of beets
- 1 hour l. salt
- 3 tbsp. l. Sahara
- 5 tbsp. l. vinegar 6% (apple or wine)
- head of garlic
- 0.5 cups vegetable oil
- greens (dill, parsley, onion, celery, basil - what is there)
- 0.5 tsp l. ground black pepper
- 0.5 tsp l. mixture of paprika with hot pepper
How to cook:
1. Wash, peel and grate the beets.
2. Pour oil into a saucepan, bite and season. Add sugar and salt. Chop the garlic and herbs. Warm up the mixture until it boils.
3. Put the beets in the marinade, heat everything together for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat.
4. Remove the cooled beets in the refrigerator for a day. This time is enough for the beets to be sufficiently marinated and soaked in spices.
5. When serving, you can sprinkle sesame seeds, crushed nuts, or just herbs.

Culinary advice: if the use of raw beets is not recommended, then you can prepare this salad from baked or boiled beets, and replace the vinegar with lemon juice or dry white wine.
