I never thought that I had been using the microwave incorrectly for fifteen years. I have always had this problem: food does not heat up evenly. Hot on one end and icy on the other. How so ?!
And the thing is that I did not warm up correctly. Recently I saw it on TV, and now everything is warming up evenly. I will share with you
In general, I try to use the microwave as little as possible: I prefer freshly prepared food (and my whole family too). But still you have to use it sometimes.
So, in order for the food to warm up evenly, you need to put the plate not in the middle, but on the very edge of the coopler - the same "plate" or "tray" (I don't know how to call it correctly) that rotates.
What will it give? The plate with food will be closer to the walls of the microwave, which radiate microwaves. This means that the heating will be stronger, and the waves will definitely reach the food.
By the way, microwaves penetrate only the first 1.5-2 cm of food, and everything else heats up due to heat transfer. I didn't know this either.
And also, if food allows, then you can make a depression in the middle, For example, if you are heating pasta, buckwheat, rice, etc. Then it will warm up even more evenly.
If you reheat the soup, then you need to warm it up half the time, stop, stir - then warm it up again.
Here's a great tip for anyone who uses a microwave.
Write in the comments, is your food warming up evenly? Or hot on one end and cold on the other?
