Festive puff salad "Bear fur coat" will not go unnoticed on any festive table.
On almost any New Year's table there is Olive and a herring under a fur coat. But it would not be bad to add variety, for example to make such a salad, absolutely every guest will want to try it.
First you need to prepare all the main ingredients: boil the carrots and eggs, rinse and dry the walnuts and peel a few cloves of garlic. I collect salad in a ring from a springform cake pan with a diameter of 22 cm (for a large company).
The first to go to the salad is the diced chicken breast. In the meat, I immediately add garlic squeezed through a press, black pepper and a couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise. Mix well and transfer to a plate, level well. I don't use mayonnaise on this layer.
The next will be a layer of boiled eggs grated with a coarse grater, you need to take at least 6 pieces. Cover the eggs with a net of mayonnaise.
Next, we send grated carrots to the salad, which also needs to be covered with mayonnaise, but slightly less than the eggs.
The next layer will be grated cheese. I distribute the mayonnaise and spread it well with a spoon, paying special attention to the edges.
I chop walnuts with a knife, I do not use a blender, the crumb should be large enough (it tastes better). I spread the last layer of nuts and send the salad to the refrigerator.
I release the salad from the ring just before serving, decorate the ends of the salad with finely chopped green onions.
Ingredients for a 22 cm diameter ring:
- Smoked chicken breast 1 pc
- Eggs 6 pcs
- Carrots 300 grams
- Cheese 130 grams
- Walnuts 150 grams
- Garlic 2-3 cloves
- Mayonnaise
- Green onions
