A good piece of meat at the holiday has not left anyone indifferent. And if you also bake it deliciously, with an original touch and serve beautifully right away with a side dish, it will generally be a masterpiece that will be remembered by guests for many years.
Ingredients:
pork leg or neck
a handful of pitted prunes
salt
pepper
soy sauce
honey
potato
seasonings for meat
garlic
How to cook:
1. Take a large, beautiful piece of pork, strip off excess fat and other unnecessary things, wash, dry.
2. Make deep punctures in the meat along the entire depth of the piece, but without piercing it through and through.
3. Rinse the prunes. Do not soak or scald.
4. Disassemble the garlic into cloves, peel, cut into slices.
5. Stuff the pork with the garlic cloves.
6. On the top of the piece, the punctures are slightly widened and placed in each half or a whole prune.
7. Rub the pork with salt and ground peppers. You can use seasonings and spices for the meat as desired. Leave the meat on the table for 30 minutes under a bowl so that it does not dry out.
8. Mix in 2 tbsp. l. honey and soy sauce. You can pour in 1 tsp. l. melted butter or vegetable oil for shine.
9. Cover the meat with the resulting marinade, place in a baking bag or sleeve and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours. Better at night.
10. Wash small potatoes, boil in a peel. You can not clean if washed well. Boil until cooked, too, should not, otherwise it will lose its shape.
11. Cut the still hot semi-finished potatoes into circles or wedges. Drizzle with vegetable oil and sprinkle with herbs to taste.
12. Bake pork at 200 degrees, depending on the size of the piece, in the same sleeve or baking bag. But not less than 1 hour.
Then cut the top of the bag, remove its edges to the sides and line the pork with potatoes. Return to oven for another 30 minutes.
13. Leave the finished baked meat for 10 minutes, covered with foil, after removing from the oven. Then cut into portions and serve with potatoes and fresh vegetables.
Bon Appetit! ๐
Good luck and health!
