Hot dish of potatoes and minced meat " 2 in 1" side dish and main dish in one dish: I cook for the holidays and for dinner

The recipe for a delicious hot 2 in 1, both a side dish and a main course in one bowl. It is prepared in a slightly unconventional way, but thanks to this it turns out awesomely tasty: the potatoes taste incredible, and the meat balls are juicy and appetizing.

Recipe:

potatoes -1 kg

salt -1 tsp

butter -40g

cheese - optional

tomato paste -2 tbsp

water -100ml

For meatballs:

minced meat -500g

salt -1 / 2 tsp

onion -1pc

garlic -2-3tooth

black pepper - to taste

sweet paprika -1 / 2 tsp

sour cream -1 tbsp.

COOKING METHOD

First, prepare the potatoes, peel the weight of the peeled potatoes 1 kg, if the potatoes are large, cut them into 2-3 pieces. We take a saucepan, put in potatoes, pour salt with hot water and set to cook until tender. I have a 3.1 liter saucepan.

While the potatoes are being cooked, let's do the minced meat.
We measure 500 grams of minced meat, add 1 chopped onion, a couple of garlic cloves, 1 tbsp. sour cream or cream, add salt, spices.
Drain the liquid from the potatoes, take a suitable baking sheet, grease with oil, put the potatoes, wrinkle them with a fork.

Put meat balls on top.
Put 2 tablespoons in a bowl. tomato paste, pour in about 50 ml of water, salt, a pinch of salt and mix. You can substitute tomato paste for ketchup if desired.

Lubricate the meat balls, put in the preheated oven and cook until the meat balls are cooked at a temperature of 200 degrees for 30 minutes.


If I want to give a more festive look, I rub the cheese on a fine grater, sprinkle on the meat balls and put it on for another 5 minutes, until the cheese melts.

Potatoes are soaked in juices from meat balls and it turns out tasty and aromatic, and the meat balls themselves are simply delicious, due to the fact that we smeared them with tomato paste, they do not dry out.
