Oh, what a delicious potato it turns out! Here's an idea for a hot dish (or side dish) for the New Year 2022. It turns out delicious, it's easy to cook, the ingredients are all available and inexpensive. I'm sure you will constantly cook such potatoes later, so take note of the recipe.

Ingredients:

Potato
Cheese
Sour cream
Garlic
Butter
Vegetable oil
Salt
Spices (black pepper)
Greenery

Preparation:

We need 8-10 medium sized potatoes. Peel the potatoes, cut them into slices or circles, into large cubes - in general, whatever you want. The main thing is that we cut it quite large. If the potatoes are small, as in the photo above, then you can leave them whole.

Prepare the filling: in a bowl, mix 100 grams of soft butter, 3 tablespoons of sour cream, 100 grams of grated cheese. Add 3-5 minced garlic cloves, salt to taste. We mix.

As for the spices: I only put black ground pepper. The filling itself is creamy, and if you add a lot of other spices, you get a weird combination (for my taste). Therefore, I limit myself to only pepper. You can add chopped greens to the filling.

Pour potatoes with the resulting sauce, mix.

Grease a baking dish or baking sheet with vegetable oil, lay out the potatoes with sauce. All the leftover sauce that has dripped to the bottom of the bowl is also spread over the potatoes.

Cover with foil and bake in the oven for about 1 hour (temperature 180 degrees). Then we remove the foil, you can additionally sprinkle the potatoes with cheese. We bake for another 15 minutes to form a golden brown crust.

And immediately serve, you can sprinkle with fresh herbs. Bon appetit, my dears!
