This appetizer was asked to cook for the new year by my husband. It is very easy to cook it. Peppers can be baked and peeled in advance, and the rest of the preparations can be made before serving.

Ingredients:

  • Bell pepper 2 pcs
  • Cream cheese 140 grams
  • Bacon 180 grams
  • Green onions
  • Salt, pepper, paprika

How to cook:

Peppers need to be peeled and cut into small pieces, sprinkled with vegetable oil and sent to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Then transfer them to a bag and let stand for about 10 minutes, so it is very easy to peel them. In order to prepare the filling, you need to mix cream cheese, green onions, salt, pepper and paprika. Put a little filling on each piece of cooled pepper and roll it into a roll.

Next, we wrap the finished rolls with bacon and send them to the oven under the grill for 10-15 minutes. You can serve immediately.

Sandwiches with cod liver and tomatoes

Ingredients for 8-9 sandwiches:

  • Baguette
  • Jar of Canned Cod Liver in Oil
  • Tomatoes 2 pcs
  • Dill
  • Butter 20 grams

How to cook:

Cut the baguette and send it to the oven to dry. Then put a little cod liver on each piece of bread, put a piece of tomato on top and decorate with dill. I sprinkle a little black pepper on top of the sandwiches.

"Smoked balls" with walnuts

Ingredients:

  • Hard cheese 100 grams
  • Eggs 2 pcs
  • Walnuts 90 grams
  • Bacon 3 strips
  • Paprika, black pepper
  • Sticks "Straws"
  • Mayonnaise (cream cheese)

How to cook:

Fry bacon in a frying pan until crisp and chop in a blender. Grate eggs and cheese, add crushed walnuts, mayonnaise, paprika, pepper and bacon to them. Mix everything well. Form balls from the resulting mass and roll in walnut crumbs. All balls must be sent to the refrigerator for a couple of hours. And the straw must be introduced into the balls before serving, so that they do not have time to absorb too much moisture.

Herring, red onion and tomato sandwiches

Ingredients:

  • Bread
  • Light-salted herring
  • Red onion
  • Tomatoes
  • Green onions
  • Mustard or horseradish

How to cook:

Cut the baguette and send it to the oven to dry. Then each slice of bread should be slightly greased with mustard or horseradish (who likes what), then put a few rings of red onion, a circle of tomato on top. Put a piece of slightly salted herring on top of the tomato (preferably homemade). Garnish with green onions when serving.

Cucumber boats with crab filling.

Ingredients:

  • Cucumber 2 pcs
  • Crab meat 1 pack
  • Green onion
  • Cream cheese 80 grams
  • Mayonnaise 1 tablespoon

How to cook:

First, let's prepare the filling, for this we mix the chopped crab meat with green onions, add cream cheese and mayonnaise. Mix well and prepare the cucumbers. The cucumbers need to be cut into a thickness of about 2 mm and pierced with a toothpick as shown in the photo below.

This must be done before serving. Then it remains only to fill the resulting boats with filling and serve.
