Festive chicken in the oven

Ingredients: chicken (I had a small size of about 1 kg), potatoes, apples, garlic, salt, pepper, For marinade, olive oil, mustard, liquid honey, hops-suneli, soy sauce

Cooking method:

Coat the chicken with all the ingredients for the marinade, plus salt and pepper and leave to marinate for 2-3 hours.

Cut the apple into small wedges, peel the garlic and put inside the chicken. Close the hole with a toothpick.

Peel the potatoes and cut into large longitudinal sticks. Place the chicken breast-side up on a baking sheet with baking paper, arrange the potatoes around the chicken. Drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper. Stir with your hands.

Cover the baking sheet with foil and send to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 45 minutes.

After 45 minutes, remove the foil and pour the juice over the chicken with a spoon. Bake for another 15 minutes.

Next, turn the chicken upside down, pour over the juice and leave to bake for another 10-15 minutes, until the crust is fried.

Pierce the chicken with a toothpick, if clear juice flows out of it, then the chicken is ready. Place the chicken on a large platter and spread the baked potatoes around. BON APPETIT! 😋
