I'll tell you how to make homemade cheese. It turns out to be very tasty! Make it according to my recipe with just two ingredients and you will no longer want to buy cheese in the store.

So, we need 500 g of cottage cheese and 500 ml of milk. These are the two main ingredients.

IMPORTANT! Milk and cottage cheese must be of good quality. Ideally, homemade or farm-made - then the cheese will be the most delicious. If you take store milk, then choose a fat content of at least 3.2%. The cottage cheese must also be good, natural - otherwise the cheese will not work.

Put cottage cheese in a saucepan, fill it with milk and put it on the stove. Heat, stirring occasionally.

As it warms up, the whey will begin to separate. And the cottage cheese will gather in a lump and stretch, "melt".

Heat until the whey is completely separated. Do not bring it to a boil!

Drain the whey through a sieve or colander covered with gauze. We leave the cottage cheese for a few minutes so that all the liquid is glass. By the way, don't pour out the serum! It can be used to make pancakes, pancakes, tortillas, etc.

Add salt to the curd mass - about half a teaspoon or a little more and 1/3 teaspoon of soda.

Mix and place in a water bath. Heat again, stirring constantly. The curd will "melt", stretch, become more plastic and homogeneous. It is somewhat similar in consistency to tough dough or plasticine. At this stage, add butter - about 1.5 teaspoons, mix.

We take a deep bowl or container, grease the inside with butter and put the curd lump there. Distribute evenly, tamp lightly. Cover the top with cling film and leave for 3-4 hours at room temperature.

That's all)) Homemade cheese is ready! It even has holes when cut. There are not many of them, but they are.
