#Christmas Well, here are my dear friends and subscribers, Merry Christmas to you, everyone who is involved and celebrates. Today is Christmas Eve and many are setting festive tables. The stollens and New Year's muffins have already been eaten, so I made a simple but very flavorful oatmeal cookie. Decorated with glaze, it looks pretty on the table. In addition, it is very tasty and, one might say, healthy.
Ingredients: instant oatmeal, fine sugar, butter, honey, soda, large eggs, wheat flour (I took whole grain), juice of half a lemon, cinnamon, ground cloves, nutmeg, dried ginger, For icing:, powdered sugar, lemon juice
Cooking method:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Sift flour and combine with soda and spices. Grind the oatmeal to a flour condition. Melt butter with half the sugar, add honey and stir. Pour the hot oil mixture into the oatmeal and stir well until all the oatmeal is soaked in oil and becomes a damp crumb.
Beat eggs with the remaining sugar for 5 minutes. The mass will become light and increase in volume. Combine beaten eggs with oatmeal. Add wheat flour with baking soda and spices, lemon juice. Mix the resulting dough well. Roll into balls the size of a walnut. It is convenient to wet your hands with water. Spread the balls on a baking sheet with baking paper and flatten. Bake at 180 degrees C until light golden brown.
Cool the finished cookies. Prepare the icing. To do this, mix the icing sugar with lemon juice, transfer to a small bag, cut off a corner and apply stripes at random. However, you can decorate as you wish or not decorate at all. Happy and delicious holiday to everyone!
