Ingredients:
tangerines 800gr
oranges 2 pcs
honey 3 tsp
sugar 800gr
ground ginger 1.5 tsp
vanillin pinch
Preparation:
Peel tangerines and oranges, divide into slices. For oranges, remove the white inner layer - this must be done, otherwise the jam will have a bitter taste.
The slices can be left like this, or you can cut each into 2-3 pieces. Add to citrus fruits 1 glass of water, 400 g of sugar and leave for 6-8 hours.
Then put on low heat, add ginger and cook after boiling for 1 hour, stirring constantly. Then we turn it off and wait for it to cool completely.
Bring it to a boil again (small fire), add another 400g of sugar, honey and vanillin. Cook for another 1 hour.
Put the finished jam in dry sterilized jars and close the lids.
