Chop the garlic finely and pick off the thyme leaves from the twigs. Combine half the garlic and half the thyme leaves with the shrimp. Add a little olive oil, season to taste and stir well.
Cut a couple of centimeters from the bottom of the asparagus, brush with olive oil and place in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle the asparagus with the remaining garlic, thyme, and half the cheese. Bake the asparagus in an oven preheated to 200 ° for 8-9 minutes.
String the shrimp on wooden skewers pre-soaked in cold water. Move the asparagus to the edge of the baking sheet and fill the empty space with shrimp skewers. Pour the remaining marinade over the shrimp, sprinkle with cheese and place in the oven for another 5 minutes.
