Oh, what delicious buns-cheesecakes are obtained! The scent from them all over the porch. I guarantee you will like these buns too, they are incredibly tasty, soft, airy. The recipe is many years old, it is written in my mother's cookbook.
Cooking:
For the dough, mix warm milk, melted butter, yeast and honey. Add sugar, salt, flour, knead the dough and put it in a warm place for 40-45 minutes.
At this time, we will make the curd filling. Mix cottage cheese, sugar and vanilla. I advise you to take pasty cottage cheese, not granular (or rub it through a sieve so that there is a uniform consistency)
Roll out the dough into a layer, grease with a piece of softened butter (1-1.5 tablespoons approximately). Then lay out the curd filling, distribute a thin layer evenly over the dough. If desired, sprinkle with raisins or candied fruits, nuts.
We turn the roll, pinch the "seam". We cut the roll into pieces - it turns out 13-15 pieces.
Pour a little flour into a plate, “dip” each piece into flour on one side, cut down, to seal the curd. Place the rolls on a baking sheet (lined with parchment paper).
Lubricate the buns with a mixture of egg yolk and 1 tbsp. milk. Bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes (temperature 180-190 degrees).
Ready curd buns can be sprinkled on top with powdered sugar or covered with icing. Very tasty! Bon appetit, my dears!
