Cooking method:
We put the oven to warm up to 180 gr. At this time, we prepare the filling: put the lentils to boil, salt it, chop the onion and fry it until browned, salt, add garlic, cumin and ground coriander.
In a separate bowl, mix the slightly cooled boiled lentils with fried onions. Add feta, zest and chopped greens.
Place parchment paper on a baking sheet and grease it with oil. We lay out the sheets of dough one by one on the table, grease with butter, you can replace it with olive or peanut butter.
We cut each sheet into 4 strips, put a spoonful of the filling at the bottom of the strip, fold the corner into a triangle and repeat to the end of the strip to make a puff pastry.
Put the pies on a baking sheet, grease the top with oil and bake for about 30 minutes until browned. I also made them with jam, as well as with cheese filling: feta, cheddar, herbs, peppers, fresh green onions. Serve with your choice of sauce.
