All the same, the most delicious food is the simplest. So the Cowboy salad is very easy to prepare, and the ingredients are all available and you can buy it at any store. The highlight of the salad is a very interesting dressing.
Its main ingredient is beef liver, which can be easily replaced with pork or chicken. The main thing is to boil it correctly. I boiled a piece of beef liver weighing about 300 grams in salted water with the addition of bay leaf and allspice for about 20 minutes. I let the liver cool in the same soma water in which it was boiled.
Then I cut it into small cubes, focusing on the size of canned peas.
In the same way, you need to cut pickles, better homemade, three medium-sized pieces are enough.
Onions can be used green, like me. And you can use red, but pre-marinated in lemon juice or vinegar.
We combine all the ingredients in one bowl and proceed to prepare the dressing. You can, of course, season with mayonnaise, but this dressing is definitely tastier.
For dressing, I mix a couple of tablespoons of sour cream, one teaspoon of horseradish, the same amount of wine vinegar and paprika. If desired, add a little salt and pepper.
I mix everything well and dress the salad.

- Green or red onion
- Sour cream 2 tbsp. spoons, horseradish 1 hour spoon, wine vinegar 1 tsp. spoon, paprika
