In this recipe, I will show you how to cook delicious and amazingly tender pork ribs in the oven. They are prepared very simply, however, their preparation will take a long time, but believe me, the result is worth it! I also recommend at the end of cooking to cover them with BBQ sauce and bake a little more. This will have a very positive effect on the taste of the ribs and on their appearance. Bon Appetit!

Video recipe:

We start cooking with the ribs. It is necessary to remove the film from their inside. In my opinion, the easiest way to do this is by prying it with the back of a teaspoon. Then just take the edge of the film and remove it with your hands. Together with the films, we remove excess fat, if any, on the ribs that you purchased. Wet the prepared ribs with a paper towel from excess moisture on their surface and set aside.

The next step is to prepare the spice mixture for the ribs. To do this, mix 2 tbsp. l. salt, 1 tbsp. l. sugar, 1 tbsp. l. sweet ground paprika, 3 tbsp. l. granulated garlic, 2 tsp. l. mustard powder. We mix everything together.

Apply the spice mixture to the ribs and rub it well on all sides. We pack each strip of ribs in foil separately. Regarding the amount of foil - one layer will be enough. We send the ribs to the oven. Set the cooking temperature to 150 degrees.

After 2 hours, remove the ribs from the oven and remove them from the foil. Raise the temperature of the oven to 250 degrees and leave it to warm up. At this time, apply BBQ sauce to the ribs. Of course, you can cook it yourself, but I most often use a good, purchased one. We shift the ribs to the grate and return them to the oven, which should have warmed up properly by this time. Let them bake for 10 minutes.

Cut the ribs into bite-size pieces. I recommend doing this carefully, because the meat will come off the bones very easily. Put the ribs on a plate and serve with your favorite side dish. Bon Appetit!
