The dish has an interesting combination of shrimp flavor, piquancy of chili pepper, sweetness of peanut butter and delicate aftertaste of coconut milk. It is quite difficult to describe it in words, so try to imagine, and even better cook!
Ingredients: Shrimp with /mor (tiger), Garlic, Green onion, Fresh red chili pepper, Peanut butter, Coconut cream, Soy sauce, fresh cilantro, vegetable oil, salt, boiled lentils (black beluga), lime, lemon, bamboo leaves for presentation wish
Cooking method:
Defrost shrimp, peel and remove the esophagus.
Finely chop the green onion and cilantro.
Red chili pepper 🌶 cut into small cubes.
Put the 🦐 shrimp on a frying pan heated with vegetable oil, crush the garlic cloves and fry for 2 minutes.
For the Indonesian satay sauce. In a bowl, mix 3 tbsp. peanut butter, 200 ml coconut cream and soy sauce.
Put the pan on the fire, add a little vegetable oil to it. Once the oil is hot, sauté the green onions, cilantro and red chilli dices in it for 30-40 seconds.
After 1 minute, add shrimp and Satay sauce. Stir the contents of the pan so that the sauce coats each shrimp. As the sauce warms up, it will thicken quickly and the shrimp will be ready.
For presentation, put a bamboo leaf in the middle of the dish, on one side shrimp in Satay sauce, and on the other side boiled lentils seasoned with lime and lemon juice.
Garnish with fried lime and lemon wedges!
