Red lentils with chicken and tomato sauce

Ingredients: lentils, water, bay leaf, vegetable oil, salt, spices, chicken (any meat), paprika, Seasoning for chicken, For sauce, medium carrot, large onion, Tomato paste, garlic, Khmeli-suneli, Salt, spices, greens

Cooking method:

Rinse the lentils well, add water, cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes until tender.

Fry the chicken in a pan until golden brown.

We cut not very finely carrots, onions in half rings, fry until golden brown. Add tomato paste, or any tomato sauce. We fry a little. Add a little water so that the sauce is not too liquid. Then add spices, salt, black pepper. Bring to a boil. Cut the garlic, add to the sauce. Boil 5-7 minutes. At the end, add greens.

Put the lentils on a plate, pour over the sauce. (I like a lot of sauce) Put the chicken meat on the side. I put down the wings. Sprinkle with herbs. Unlike pea puree, red lentils have an unusual, slightly nutty flavor. Tastes perfect with tomato sauce. Bon Appetit)
