Today I will share a recipe for making a very tasty charlotte with apples and seeds. Seeds are not the most common ingredient in pies, but they are very appropriate here.
Ingredients: butter, milk, sugar, peeled sunflower seeds, chicken eggs, sour cream, wheat flour, baking powder, apples (peeled slices)
Cooking method:
We put 20 grams of butter in a pan, pour in milk, pour 70 grams of sugar (about 4 tablespoons), let it all boil and slightly change color towards goldenness. Add the seeds here and mix.
On the bottom of the form (I have a detachable one with a diameter of 23 cm), covered with baking paper, we evenly distribute our first layer - caramelized seeds.
Wash 2 apples, peel and cut into slices. Spread the apple slices evenly on top of the seeds.
We make dough. Butter (180 grams) should be at room temperature, even a little softer. Beat it well with a mixer with the remaining 80 grams of sugar until airy.
Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each.
Then sour cream, continuing to mix.
Pour the sifted flour with baking powder and mix gently with a spatula. The dough should be very soft.
We shift it to apples and level it.
Bake in an oven preheated to 180 * C for about 40 minutes.
Let's cool down. Then we release from the form, cover with a plate, turn over and carefully remove the baking paper. If there are seeds left on it, then return them with a knife to the pie.
