Today I got the urge to make gratin. But since this desire arose unexpectedly and spontaneously, I found that I did not have all the products for this dish. Well, of course, I was too lazy to run to the store. Therefore, she immediately found a way out and replaced the bacon with balykovy sausage, and cream with milk and sour cream. It didn't turn out any worse... Very tasty too! So do not be afraid to fantasize and replace products. The taste of the dish will change slightly, but it will not get worse... Bon Appetit!

Gratin with bacon and cheese

Ingredients: Potatoes, Bacon (I have sliced balykovy sausage), Cheese, Cream (I have 50 g. milk 3.2% + 2 tbsp. l. sour cream 20%), Salt, Ground black pepper, Vegetable oil for lubrication

Cooking method:

Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into slices. Salt, pepper.

We buy sliced bacon (I used sliced balykovy sausage instead of bacon). Three cheese on a large grater.

Preparing a baking dish: I have a small one - 12 × 16 cm. It makes two servings. Lightly grease the mold with vegetable oil. Lay the potatoes in a single layer on the bottom of the dish. Put bacon (sausage) in one layer on potatoes.

Sprinkle grated cheese on top.

Then another layer of potatoes, bacon.

And more grated cheese. Now pour in the cream. I didn’t have cream, so I found another way out: I mixed 50 g. milk 3.2% and two full tablespoons of 20% sour cream. If necessary, you can still pepper: as you like.

Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake for 50 minutes.
