#second courses I remembered my recipe from the famine times, when there was no meat, and they bought sausage with coupons. I got lentils from my mother then - strategic reserves. My family did not want to eat porridge or soup from lentils. And then I came up with the idea of adding it to the stew. This is delicious!
Ingredients: Potato, Onion, Carrot, Cabbage, Lentil, Boiled sausage, Vegetable oil, Spices
Cooking method:
Boil a small amount of lentils until almost cooked. Let there be a little decoction. Salt at the end of cooking.
Peel potatoes and cut into small cubes. Put to boil, bay 2 fingers above the surface of the potato.
While the potatoes are cooking, chop the onions, carrots and sausage randomly and stew a little with a decent amount of vegetable oil.
Add diced cabbage and stewed vegetables to potatoes. Salt everything during cooking. You can add a chicken cube.
Almost immediately add lentils with broth. Simmer until done. I don't add tomato sauce. You see how you want more. But I pour my favorite spices generously.
