#cookpad4 Happy birthday Cookpad 🎉 Have a great mood, great inspiration and good luck in cooking great dishes. Please yourself and your loved ones ❤️ Köfte is one of the most popular dishes in Turkey. The name kofte is translated as cutlets, meatballs. Usually kofte is made from minced red meat. The juiciness of kofte is due to the addition of fat minced meat, bread soaked in milk, spices, onions, mint and other greens. Adding mint to minced meat is a moot point, some like it, some don't. Instead of mint, you can add parsley.
Ingredients: minced beef, medium onion, fresh mint, white loaf, milk, Salt, black pepper, thyme, cumin
Cooking method:
Peel the onion and smash in a blender with spices, add to the minced meat. Soak the loaf in milk, mash and add to the minced meat.
Mix the minced meat well, form oval cutlets and put each cutlet on a skewer and lightly press down to form an elongated cutlet on the skewer. Grill on a contact grill.
It can be served as an independent dish with tortillas or with a side dish and sauce. Or, as in my case, in pita bread with vegetables and cold sauce.
