One of my subscribers suggested cooking chicken in a very simple way, but with the addition of a special ingredient. And it's soda. This dish belongs to the category of delicious, fast and budget. The secret is that when sautéing onions, soda is added. Onions acquire a caramel color, a lot of liquid is released. It turns out an excellent onion sauce in which our chicken is cooked. The meat is juicy and very tender. #chicken #chicken_in_jewish #chicken_on_a_pan #fried_chicken #Chicken_in_jewish

Hebrew chicken. Simple, budget and incredibly tasty dish | chicken in jewish

Ingredients: chicken (drumsticks, steaks), onions, soda, vegetable oil, salt, pepper

Cooking method:

Onion cut into half rings.

Pour vegetable oil into a preheated pan and fry the onion for 5 minutes over high heat.

Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.

And cook for another 3-5 minutes over medium heat (the onion reacts with soda, changes color and releases a lot of liquid).

Place the chicken pieces skin side down in the skillet. Salt, pepper and cover. Simmer for 20 minutes.

Turn chicken over.

Salt and pepper again. To cover with a lid.

And simmer another 20 minutes. The sauce takes on a caramel color and the meat is soaked in it.

Can be served with any side dish.
