Very tasty, juicy, satisfying and easy to prepare kurniki pies with chicken, potatoes and onions. Yeast-free dough on sour cream is prepared simply and quickly, it is very easy to work with. This is a proven option and very successful.
Ingredients: Dough:, flour, soda, sour cream, butter, salt, Stuffing:, chicken fillet (preferably from the thigh), potatoes, onions, pepper, salt, butter if desired, egg for lubricating chicken coops
Cooking method:
1. Mix sour cream with soda, salt and softened butter. 2. Gradually add the sifted flour and knead a soft, non-sticky dough. It is not necessary to knead the dough for a long time. 3. Cover the dough with cling film and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes. 4. For the filling, cut into small cubes: potatoes, onions and chicken fillet. Add salt, pepper and mix everything thoroughly.
5. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape into balls. Roll each ball into a layer with a diameter of about 15 cm. Put a small amount of filling in the center (about 2 tbsp. l.), I also add a small piece of butter to each kurnik, connect the edges of the dough, pinch well, forming triangles. 6. Lay the chicken thighs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 35-40 minutes. 10-15 minutes before readiness, if desired, grease the kurniks with a beaten egg or yolk. 8. Put the finished chicken on a dish and serve hot to the table.
