So, we need some vegetable oil or butter. We put it in a saucepan, heat it up and add dry bulgur. Fry it over high heat for a few minutes.

The cereal will absorb all the liquid, increase in volume. After turning off the fire, do not open the lid for another 5 minutes, and only then you can serve bulgur as a side dish.

You can also do this: while bulgur is cooking, fry frozen or fresh vegetables in a pan. Then add the finished bulgur to the pan to the vegetables, fry everything together for 1 minute and the delicious bulgur is ready for garnish with vegetables.
