Delicious, and most importantly, they can be easily and quickly prepared, if you suddenly want some tasty treats for tea! The main thing is always in reserve to have dough and berries in the freezer.
Ingredients: yeast-free puff pastry (2 layers), Frozen berry (I had raspberries, currants, cherries), Sugar, yolk, cornstarch (can be without it)
Cooking method:
Defrost the dough and berries in advance (drain excess liquid from them). Roll out the dough on a table sprinkled with flour. ๐We make the shape of roses - we divide the dough layer into equal squares and from each edge in the middle we make an incision not reaching the middle, then we connect the opposite edges to make a flower shape, pierce the middle with a fork so that the dough does not rise and the filling does not got out.
๐The shape of the triangle is also equal squares, just bend it diagonally, and we link the edges by pressing with a fork along the edges. ๐ You can also make a rectangular shape with a notched top, the bottom of the dough should be slightly larger than the top, on the top we make arbitrary cuts, stretch it over the bottom with the filling and also link it, we go through the edges fork. ๐I also made just rectangles (fold the square in half).
๐ธPreparing the filling - put the defrosted berry in a saucepan, add starch and sugar, boil a little over low heat so that it becomes thicker and the filling does not leak out, cool. ๐ You can simply put thawed berries on puffs and sprinkle them with sugar to taste. ๐ธ Lubricate the puffs with yolk. You can sprinkle with sesame seeds. ๐ธ We send the puffs to the oven preheated at 200 ยฐ for about 25 minutes.
Sprinkle the finished puffs with powdered sugar and enjoy. Happy tea drinking๐ฅโ
