One of the most popular hot appetizers is julienne with mushrooms. No wonder, because juicy chicken meat, fragrant mushrooms and creamy sauce, baked under a layer of cheese is not only tasty, but also surprisingly mouth-watering dish, which is required from the classic snacks.

Julienne with chicken and mushrooms

Ingredients: Chicken fillet, Onion, champignons, hard cheese, Cream or sour cream, Wheat flour, Butter, Olive oil, Salt, garlic, Ground black pepper

Cooking method:

Chicken breast can be boiled or fried to a light golden color. Transfer to a bowl and wrap tightly in foil. Peel and finely chop the onion. Add peeled and chopped mushrooms. And fry until the liquid evaporates. Salt and pepper to taste. Cut the chicken breast and add to the mushrooms with onions. Stir and remove from heat after a couple of minutes.

Melt the butter in a frying pan, add flour to it and mix well. We warm up for a minute and a half, do not forget to mix. And add the cream in small portions, while stirring with a whisk so that no lumps form.

Add ground black pepper, nutmeg if desired, garlic, salt to taste. Bring to a boil and remove from stove. And now we mix the resulting sauce with mushrooms and chicken. Arrange in heat-resistant molds or in one large form and generously sprinkle with grated cheese. If you have sour cream, then you can simply pour sour cream on top and sprinkle with cheese.

And bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes until a beautiful golden crust.
