Profiteroles are small, less than 4 cm in diameter, hollow inside French choux pastry buns. They can be with different fillings, both sweet and savory: custard, lettuce, mushrooms, meat, cheese, and so on. My profiteroles without filling - they are already very tasty! ππ #dessert #games #profiteroles
Ingredients: wheat flour, water, butter, I have margarine, eggs, salt, sugar, for serving, dark chocolate
Cooking method:
Boil water in a large saucepan, add salt, sugar and margarine.
Cook until the margarine is completely dissolved.
Reduce the heat to a minimum, add all the sifted flour, quickly knead the dough with a wooden or silicone spatula.
Remove from heat and stir vigorously until no lumps remain. Knead until the dough comes off the walls.
Allow the dough to cool slightly, beat in the eggs one by one, mixing with a spoon after adding each egg until completely smooth before adding the next.
Using a pastry bag or two wet teaspoons, deposit small profiteroles on a baking sheet covered with a non-stick mat or parchment, leaving 2-4 centimeters between them.
Bake in an oven preheated to 190 Β° for 25 - 30 minutes, do not open the oven door, focus on the time and ruddy color of the profiteroles.
Allow to cool slightly, pour over melted chocolate or simply sprinkle them with powdered sugar. It's simple, but very tasty! Bon appetit and all the best to you! ππ
