Valentine cakes "Red Velvet" or "Red Velvet"

Admin

#valentines #redvelvet #dessert February 14, the whole world celebrates one of the brightest and most exciting winter holidays - Valentine's Day or Valentine's Day. I propose to cook a delicious and beautiful dessert "Red Velvet". This dessert has porous and moist cakes, they literally melt in your mouth, but that's not even the point. The chip is in a small amount of cocoa, which is added to the dough, but masked in red. That is, when you bite off a piece, you expect anything, but not a chocolate aftertaste. This is a dessert that deceives perception and surprises again and again. Throw in some buttercream and you'll have a cake that you'll want to make again, again, again...

Valentine cakes " Red Velvet" or " Red Velvet"

Ingredients: flour, sugar, small eggs, kefir, sunflower oil, cocoa, helium red food coloring, soda, baking powder, salt, For cream:, cream cheese, cream, powdered sugar

Cooking method:

All the ingredients for the biscuit should be at room temperature, so it is better to get them out of the refrigerator in advance. The dough, and in other ways, like the whole dessert, is prepared very simply and quickly.

Pour kefir into the bowl.

Add soda and baking powder. Mix lightly and leave for 1-2 minutes for the reaction to occur.

Add cocoa (it is better to sift)

Pour in odorless vegetable oil.

Add eggs and mix again with a whisk.

Add a pinch of salt and helium dye. We mix.

Add sugar and combine with a whisk.

Add flour and knead the dough. It should be smooth and slightly runny.

Pour onto a sheet lined with parchment. I have a sheet size 40 cm x 28 cm. Smooth well with a spatula.

Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 20 minutes.

While the biscuit is baking, you can prepare the cream. For the cream, the ingredients need to be cold.

To do this, put cream cheese in a bowl (not to be confused with cottage cheese!), Add cream and powdered sugar and beat with a mixer for several minutes. The ingredients should combine and the cream should have a thick consistency.

Transfer the cream to a piping bag fitted with a round tip and refrigerate until ready to use. If suddenly there is no nozzle, you can simply cut off the tip of the bag evenly.

We take out the finished biscuit from the oven and leave it to cool completely. Then cut out the future layers of cakes with a cookie cutter.

Now we deposit the cream in the form of hemispheres on one layer, placing them side by side, but at the same time, each separately from the other.

Cover with a second layer and repeat the procedure.

Decorate according to taste and desire. I garnished with crushed biscuits.

From the indicated ingredients, I got 8 cakes.

Well, as it should be, we leave the cakes for several hours to soak.

I want to note one point: 🚩 cakes are moderately sweet. Therefore, keep in mind. If you like it to be sweet, I recommend adding sugar. But personally I like this option.

And on my YouTube channel Magic of simple recipes, you will find two more ideas for the Red Velvet dessert

A glass of sparkling semi-sweet wine can be a very good addition.

Treat yourself and your soulmate with a beautiful and delicious dessert.

Love, appreciate, take care of each other. And never be afraid to confess your feelings. ♥️ Happy Valentine's Day ♥️ And remember! You need to love and appreciate a person not on Valentine's Day, but 365 days a year 🤗😉
