I have used a lot of recipes for cottage cheese dough, but I stop there. Very simple, low fat, super for a sweet filling! Very soft pastries.

Ingredients: cottage cheese, butter, egg, sugar, cardamom, tangerine (zest), vanilla sugar, wheat flour, baking powder

Cooking method:

Melt the butter first to cool down. Next, we prepare the zest, you can grate it, but I ground the skin in a coffee grinder. How this aroma decorated pastries! If you have soft cottage cheese, then you can immediately start kneading, but I had a grainy one. In a bowl, I mixed cottage cheese, butter, egg, sugar and zest and killed everything with a submersible blender.

Having received a fairly homogeneous mass, I added the rest of the products there and kneaded the dough, i.e. collected in a ball, crushed and let it rest on the table for 10 minutes. I preheated the oven to 180°, divided the dough into 8 parts and tried different shaping options. Since my filling was semi-liquid (stewed apples with sugar), I stopped almost on the juicer, but with a cut on top.

The dough is not elastic, so you need to choose simple forms for molding. Baking 15 minutes. Couldn't wait to cool down, ate 2 buns. Soul delight!
