Cooking method:

Wash the rice thoroughly. Throw the grits into the pot with potatoes, mix, let the water boil again. Then lower the heat to medium and simmer for about 10 minutes.

Drain liquid from canned fish. Remove bones from fish. Add fish to pot with potatoes and salt to taste. Cook over low heat for another 3-5 minutes.

Soup with canned fish is ready. Pour into bowls and serve topped with green onions.
