Potatoes in Armenian: it is simply amazing!

Ingredients:

1 kg potato
2 garlic cloves
3-4 pinches of salt
2 hours. l. curry or turmeric

50 ml of vegetable oil

Preparation:


1. Potatoes are washed thoroughly, peel and cut out all the flaws. We need to take selective, even and smooth potatoes - so get a nice meal.
2. Cut the potatoes into thin slices. The thickness of each of not more than 2 mm.

3. Thoroughly wash the slices in cold water, changing the water several times.
Potato starch should give the maximum. The smaller it will be, the more will be crispy slices.
4. Mix in a bowl vegetable oil, curry or turmeric, salt and passed through a garlic press.

5. Potato slices lay on a paper towel and allow to dry. Because of this they will retain the shape when baked and will burn to the pan.

6. Put the potatoes in a bowl and pour the marinade. Mix gently so that each slice was covered with them on both sides.

Curry will give the potatoes a bright and appetizing yellow.

7. Arrange the potato slices in a baking dish vertically. They need to be folded into neat piles, so that the piles were not scattered.

8. Put shape with potatoes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees 30 minutes.
Bake the potatoes for more than 50 minutes, otherwise the dish dries.

Serve in Armenian potatoes need right out of the oven is still hot.
