Hello!!! I only cook healthy meals! Today I have a recipe with green beans, I want to talk a little about its usefulness! The composition of green beans contains a rather rare vitamin K, which is necessary for normal blood clotting and calcium absorption. The product contains manganese, which is responsible for the condition and elasticity of the skin. The presence of dietary fiber makes the product important for the activity of the gastrointestinal tract and the normalization of intestinal motility. Green beans have a low glycemic index (15 units), so people with diabetes of all types can use the product without restrictions. Green beans are a source of high-quality, easily digestible vegetable protein; they are often included in the diet of vegetarians and anyone who, for various reasons, does not consume meat products. Now back to our recipe.

Barley with green beans

Ingredients: Meat (not fatty), Onion, Green beans, Bell peppers, Greens, Bay leaf, Salt, Water, Barley

Cooking method:

We wash the meat (not fatty), cut it into small pieces and send it to the slow cooker, pour a glass of water and salt ½ tbsp. We set the program "Extinguishing", time 30 min.

While the meat is stewing with us, we prepare the vegetables. We clean the onion, bell pepper, tear off the tails from the beans. We wash all the vegetables and herbs, and wash the barley several times. We cut the onion in half and into strips, bell pepper into strips, divide the beans in half, chop the greens finely.

We stew the meat for 10 minutes, after which we add pearl barley, herbs, vegetables and bay leaves, and salt with the remaining salt. We mix everything well and wait for the end of the program. Bon Appetit! If someone, something is not clear, write, I will answer all questions!
