Easter "Cross" buns. Fragrant, soft, you can change the filler to your liking, add spices, such as cinnamon, I have dried cranberries today. I use this decorating idea for baking Easter cakes.

Recipe:

  • flour -450 gr
  • milk -250 ml
  • sugar -100 gr
  • vanillin "naas" -1 pack
  • butter -70 gr
  • egg -1 pc
  • high-speed yeast "naas" -7 gr
  • cranberries -150 gr

For the cross test:

  • milk -4 tbsp.
  • flour -3 tbsp
  • vegetable oil -1 tbsp.
  • sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • salt -1/3 tsp

COOKING METHOD

First, prepare the dough, melt 70 grams of butter and leave to cool

sift 450 grams of flour into a bowl, add instant yeast 7 gr.

Pour the flour with yeast into another bowl, but not all, leave about 100 grams

make a well in the flour, break 1 egg, pour in 250 ml of milk, add 100 grams of sugar, vanillin

and half tsp. salt, start mixing, pour in the butter in the process and knead the dough.

Knead the dough well with your hands, at least 10 minutes, or use a dough mixer. Now add the filler. I have cranberries today, I add 1 tbsp to cranberries. flour,

I mix and add to the dough, now I mix everything well.

We remove the dough in a warm place to rise for 1.5 hours, during this time the dough should increase in volume, we take it out and remove it for another 1 hour to rise. I usually determine the readiness of the yeast dough by the smell, it starts to smell of sourness.

Now we put the dough on the table, punch it down and divide it into portioned pieces, I divide it into 20 parts weighing 50 grams each, roll the balls.
We take molds for baking cupcakes and put blanks in them, let them distance, it takes up to 1 hour in time.
During this time, prepare the dough for drawing crosses.
Put 3 tbsp in a bowl. flour without a slide, pour in 4 tbsp. milk, 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, half tsp. sugar and a little salt, mix everything. You should get a viscous dough, it should not be liquid, but not thick, if it is too liquid add flour, if thick add milk.

We put it in a pastry bag, if not, you can put it in a regular bag and cut off the edge.
as the buns rise, add 1 tbsp to the yolk. milk and grease the buns.
Now we draw crosses

We put in the oven heating the top and bottom, the temperature is 170 degrees, we bake for 20 minutes or be guided by your oven.

take out of the oven, remove from the molds, the buns are ready.
Very tasty with a cup of tea or a glass of milk. I recommend that it is not difficult to cook and will look beautiful on the Easter table.
